The retired Catholic school principal and Berkeley, CA. resident simply obliterates the stereotype of a legalization advocate. Taylor is a grandmother of three and a veteran educator with the latest information on medical marijuana. She makes it crystal clear why seniors have a right to access this misunderstood plant, because even she misunderstood it for most of her life.

LEADING THE MEDICAL CANNABIS MOVEMENT IN FLORIDA & WHY WE NEED WHOLE PLANT LEGALIZATION

cathyCathy & Bob Jordan, Medical Marijuana Patient and Activists / Namesake of Cathy Jordan Medical Cannabis Act Senate Bill 1250
Diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS) in 1986, Cathy Jordan found a strain of cannabis which halted the progress of her condition. Close to 30 years later, Mrs. Jordan and her husband are still outspoken advocates for the medical use of cannabis. In 2013, The Miami Herald ran a story on the Jordan’s, who cultivated the strain on their property in Bradenton. Hours after that article ran, a team of ski-mask-clad deputies staged a guns-drawn raid on their home. Police seized 23 marijuana plants, including the two mature plants his Cathy uses to treat her illness. They made no arrests. Cathy Jordan is President of Florida Cannabis Action Network and a seasoned lobbyist.
